Abstract
The maximum entropy method is claimed to be effective in detecting sharp spectral features. It is useful in isolating discrete harmonics in the case of a simple model. Estimation procedure can be straightforwardly applied if one has several (a few) harmonics. This indicates that under some circumstances, the maximum entropy method is effective in determining the location of harmonics.
