Abstract

With the development of urbanization and industrialization, a large number of land resources have been polluted, and a large number of agricultural land has been occupied by construction land. The contradictions between people and land, resources, food, ecological environment have become increasingly prominent. The uncoordinated development of resources, society and economy makes the land in many areas unable to carry the development speed of the city, and the carrying capacity exceeds the reasonable level. In this case, it is very important to evaluate the comprehensive carrying capacity of urban land in Hubei Province, explore its carrying capacity potential, and analyze its changing trends and spatial differences for the sound coordinated development of urban society, economy and resources. In this article, the extension matter element model is applied to evaluate and classify the comprehensive carrying capacity of urban land in Hubei Province, and the horizontal and vertical comparison is made to analyze and compare the spatial and temporal differences of the comprehensive carrying capacity of urban land in Hubei Province.
