Abstract
This theory follows the natural geometry of the electron hybridized orbitals sp 3 tetrahedron, d 2 sp 3 octohedron through the higher level six dimensional geometry of R. Buckminster Fuller in the Periodic Table of the Elements. All the new superconductive compounds are in the tetrahedral octohedral atomic orbital symmetry. The new C 60 K 3 Buckminsterfullerene Potassium compound has the five fold icosahedral atomic orbital symmetry necessary for superconductivity. All the high Tc superconductive compounds are in the Perovskite family of minerals have either Barium or Strontium at the centroid of the unit cell, represented as icosahedral symmetry in the “Six Dimensional Periodic Table of the Elements”. All the superconductive compounds go through a phase transition. The Barium atom electrons in the Y 1 Ba 2 Cu 3 O 7 superconductive crystal and the Buckminsterfullerene molecule, are aids to a greater understanding of superconductivity.
