Abstract
Features of physical processes in the electromechanical energy converter of a valve engine are described, and a general procedure of studying the electromagnetic processes in normal and emergency operational modes is developed that is based on them. As a result, the energy parameters and instantaneous values of output engine coordinates are obtained for these modes.
