Abstract
The current work revisits the concatenation model having Kerr law of self-phase modulation and takes a fresher look with three different forms of integration technologies. The extended simple equation approach, the tanh-coth method, and the improved modified extended tanh-function approach yielded a spectrum of soliton solutions to the model. These reveal a spectrum of 1-soliton solutions to the model and they are all classified as well. The surface plots are also presented.
