Abstract

Summary The seed bacterization capacity of different kinds of gums were tested. A concentration of 40% of gum arabic led to best survival rate and showed no negative influence on the germination of cucumber and bean seeds. Moreover, increasing concentrations of bacteria on seeds enhanced the population of bacteria on the roots.
