Abstract
Cultivated land fragmentation is a quantitative description of cultivated land fragmentation, which not only affects the structure and function of cultivated land ecosystem, but also is not conducive to improving the utilization efficiency of cultivated land resources and the scale effect of grain production. In this paper, based on the grid data of the 2020 annual change survey, the 1 km grid farmland fragmentation data set of China in 2020 was obtained by grid space calculation of three landscape indicators, such as patch density index, separation index and landscape farmland type separation index. Strict quality inspection and quality control are carried out in the data processing stages such as farmland map reading, kilometer grid fragmentation calculation and comparison verification, which ensures the correctness, integrity and comparability of the data. This data set can be used to study the protection of cultivated land resources and the sustainable development of agriculture.
