Abstract

In the framework of the intrinsic coordinate-dependent phase-shifts formalism a simple method to evaluate cross sections for multiple transfer of nucleon pairs in heavy-ion collisions is presented. The nucleus-nucleus potential is parametrized with an appropriate intrinsic coordinate which describes deformations in an abstract gauge space. The different pairing rotational and vibrational states correspond to the initial or final states in the transfer process. Angular distributions for transfer of one or several pairs of nucleons are obtained. The formalism is applied to some examples and effective gauge deformation parameters are determined.
