Abstract

The multiple transfer of pairs of nucleons in heavy permanently deformed nuclei is evaluated by means of the intrinsic-coordinate dependent phase shift (ICDPS) formalism. The nucleus-nucleus potential is parametrized with macroscopic intrinsic coordinates both in the ordinary space an an abstract gauge space. Angular distributions of the cross sections for transfer of one or several pairs of nucleons to different final collective excited states are obtained. Reactions in the systems 192Os+ 12C and 186 W+ 12 C at E lab =70 Mev are analyzed.
