Abstract

The software system is becoming more and more complex, the components can be purchased by the commercial components (Commercial Off-The-Shelf, COTS). At present, this development method is also applied to the aviation field. And the system configuration is an import aspect of Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) systems. These IMA configuration state are modeled based on ASSAC and ARINC653 standards by using Architecture Analysis Design Language (AADL). The system reliability analysis and assessment work are meaningful for the IMA system in the system design period. For the system is modular, dynamic and integrated, the reliability analysis and assessment method ought to consider these feature. This paper proposes a system dynamic modeling method based on The AADL. Then using a set of model transfer method to transfer the system model to the reliability assessment model. For the component configuration state in the system is dynamic, the paper deduces out a component dynamic effective reliability analysis method, to solve the component and the system reliability assessment problem in the dynamic configure process. Finally, the case study is proposed, to demonstrate the reliability analysis and assessment method.
