Abstract
Experimental tests and numerical analyses of steel beam-column joints, composite joints, and frames under column removal scenarios have been presented in Chapters 2–4. Experimental tests and analytical model of precast concrete beam-column sub-assemblages and frames response to sudden column removal have been presented in Chapters 5–7. To fully assess the resistance of buildings structures to progressive collapse, some future research can be performed in this field.
