Abstract
Because of the dual function of structural and energetic characteristics, multifunctional energetic structural materials (MESMs) have many potential applications. This chapter gives detailed description on the application of MESMs in most areas, which various from warheads to protective structures. Structure, action principles, experimental methods to evaluate capacities, as well as typical experimental results are all introduced.
