Abstract
This chapter presents the development of a low cost and environment friendly vest that could be used during all seasons to maintain one’s upper body temperature at a desired uniform level, also providing limited remote/smartphone control to vary the value of user-desired temperature. The vest is based upon convection to distribute the heat throughout it. It is underpinned by a thermoelectric cooler device working on Peltier effect to provide the required amount of heat and is powered by a battery with operational time of 5.5–6hours when used with fully charged battery. Control on voltage is achieved by using Arduino Nano ATmega328P microcontroller.
