Abstract
AbstractSeveral concurrent trends (large TV, small‐format viewing and novel functionality) are creating challenges for display components. In this paper, we review how component developments are progressing relative to these trends, including large substrates (Gen 10 and beyond), substrates with high thermal capability, and high‐strength cover glass.
