Abstract

Arthroscopic management of glenohumeral osteoarthritis is an evolving field. Although there is poor high-quality evidence to support arthroscopic management, the limited studies available demonstrate good outcomes in early follow-up. Furthermore, the risks from arthroscopic management of glenohumeral arthritis are not significant. This chapter discusses the common types of arthritis, the decision making for arthroscopic management, early studies, and then a more nuanced description of the various procedures with outcomes.
