Abstract
This chapter deals with the discussion on mixing characteristics in bubbly flow system. The important models are highlighted for suitable application of the mixing phenomena of liquid in an upflow and inverse bubbly flow system. The suitable correlations that are developed by various authors are also reported. The advantages and disadvantages of the various models applied for interpretation of mixing mechanism are described. How to estimate the mixing characteristics by experiment are also discussed in this chapter.
