Abstract
Prior to venturing the investigation of multiphase flow and their treatment, it is necessary to understand the basic principle of the multiphase flow. As there are many applications of gas–liquid two-phase flow in different chemical and biochemical industries, to know the performance of the two-phase flow reactor, the basic behavior of the two-phase flow is important. Inverse bubbly flow is one of the various types of gas–liquid two-phase flow which has some basic characteristics different from conventional bubbly flow with its advantages. In this chapter, a comprehensive brief introduction of the inverse bubbly flow and how to develop the same are reported. The importance and the scope of the investigation of different parameters have also been discussed in brief in this chapter.
