Abstract
The world of textiles is always prone to sustainability because carcinogenic effects of pollutants and contaminants have started destroying the infrastructure of beautiful globe. In recent scenario, the surge for antiviral, antibacterial, and antioxidant based textile has gained a lot of fame. The utilization of herbal plant based textiles having search determinal effects in now a days a warm topic under research and discussion. In this chapter, the biological characterization of natural dyed textiles will be discussed. The utilization of conventional as well as modern technologies for the isolation of biological potent functional molecules from herbal based plant source will also be discussed. Hopefully, this chapter will provide a brief knowledge to the research to the researchers, academician, and industrial R & D scientists to employ these functional colorants in every walk of life.
