Abstract

Designing the website takes these principles and adds marketing and branding. Because the success of e-commerce depends on efficiency, it is no secret that the key to good web site design is not glitter, bells, and whistles; it is well-defined simplicity that provides an effective storefront. To have a simple and efficient Web presence, there are several steps, such as focus on the essential element, speed, use wide, consistent site design to jump-start navigation, enhance navigation with good link design, make sure that the site is reliable, and keep the overall look clean, professional, and consistent. Most Web surfers agree that speed is extremely important on the Internet, and most consider the biggest problem of the Internet to be the websites that take too long to download. Graphics are the number one traffic-killer when it comes to website speed. The higher the byte size of images, the slower the Website is downloaded.
