Abstract
This chapter presents auxetic fibres and yarns. A brief introduction on the traditional spinning and yarn technologies is first given, and then different types of auxetic fibres and yarns including auxetic polypropylene fibre, auxetic polyester fibre, auxetic polyamide fibre, helical auxetic yarn and helical auxetic plied yarn are systematically presented. The geometrical structures, manufacturing methods, auxetic behaviour and mechanical properties of these auxetic materials are also discussed in detail.
