Abstract
This chapter gives a systematic presentation on auxetic structures, including reentrant structures, rotating rigid structures, chiral structures, folded structures and other types of auxetic structures, along with a detailed description of their deformation mechanisms. Theoretical models for describing the auxetic behaviour and mechanical properties of these auxetic structures are specifically summarised.
