Abstract
This chapter presents a study of modeling wave transformations on the continental shelf through the use of third generation wave models and through a system of nested grids in order to reproduce the four state-of-the-sea events representative in the Campos Basin. The results of a parametric model applied to the beaches of Cabiúnas and Barra do Furado are also used to calculate the coastal currents considering the four states of the sea in the Campos Basin.
