Abstract
Nanofluids are employed as thermal enhancing agents and are used extensively for cooling. They can be used as heat exchangers, cooling of solar photovoltaic, microchannel, and multiphase flow. Nanofluids flow in channels, which has various purposes in chemical processes such as tribological applications, medical applications, drug delivery, pharmaceutical applications, surfactant, and coating. In this chapter, some fundamental information about preparation and theoretical modeling of nanofluids is presented. In addition, some examples for each nanofluid models are presented and discussed in detail.
