Abstract
Foreign-born populations in the US face poorer health outcomes when compared to US-born populations. Limited data describe skin cancer prevalence among foreign-born individuals; such data may inform preventative practices. We compared skin cancer prevalence among foreign-born and US-born adults of the same race/ethnicity using National Health Interview Survey data from 2000-2018. Skin cancer prevalence estimates were compared between US versus foreign-born using multivariable logistic regression adjusted for age, sex, demographics, and health behaviors.
