Abstract

This chapter aims to discuss the main methods of halide perovskites nano- and micropatterning, as well as their applications for light control at nanoscale and for advanced light-emitting systems like lasers. It starts from standard methods of lithography (focused ion-beam lithography and electron-beam lithography), and then focuses on the novel approaches which have emerged as specifically prospective for halide perovskites (nanoimprint and laser ablation) due to their high softness and low thermal conductivity as compared with standard semiconductors. The chapter then provides an overview of recent trends in perovskite metaoptics for applications in optoelectronic devices. Finally, it discusses in detail applications of nano- and microstructured perovskites for lasers, revealing the most prospective approaches.
