Abstract

The density of fluids may be determined by using different measuring devices. More recently, it appears that a wide variety of devices have been used to measure the density. Their application allows a sophisticated analysis of fluid in biotechnology, pharmacy, and saturation process control as well as in concentration and crystallization procedures. A unique design allows temperature compensation and acquisition of the correct measurements in various measurement processes. In the paper, the mathematical model and the potential uncertainty in the calibration of the aforementioned devices are described.
