Abstract

The significance of the research: The issue of having many children is one of the most important issues in one's private and public life. Besides the international organizations and governments give the due attention to it and to its political economic and socials aspects. The objectives of the research: The research has many objectives Such as: 1-Collecting all Hadiths that order people to have many children, then do Takhreej (referencing) and examining themthoroughly. 2-Takhreej (referencing) of the related Hadiths and examining them thoroughly. 3-Clarifying the correct status of the Hadiths on having many children issue in terms of authenticity and weakness. The most significant results of the research: 1- Having children is the most important goal of marriage. 2- The Hadiths on encouraging to have many children are 15 Hadiths. 3- All the Hadiths -except for the last one- explicitly ordains marriage to get many children. 4- It has been clear through this research that these Hadiths can be divided to three categories: One: Three Hadiths are Authentic. Two: Six ones are Da'ifa. Three: Six ones are very Da'ifa. Praise be to Allah the Lord of the worlds, Peace & Mercy of Allah be upon our Prophet (PBUH), on his family and all companions.
