Abstract

This study paid attention to the elderly space considering Aging in Place in pubic rental apartment housing corresponding to the population aging. Along with general population aging, deep consideration on elderly space in public rental apartments is inevitable in that tenant qualification assume elderly over 65 years as preferential tenant and that in general the mentioned elderly tenants continue to reside over 8 years. Thus, the troublesome problems of public rental apartments with social exclusion and alienation has been made point of contention and the role of the elderly space in the community facilities has been reconsidered. This study aimed at suggesting elderly space planning scheme cultivating a sense of community by activating the community and activating the local community as a base for Healthcare of Community Facilities in 2030. This study has perceived the limit of existing community facilities through literature review of the theoretical survey and case analysis and performs quantitative analysis on connectivity between the Space size of the community facilities as interviewing with residents, managers, and analyzing drawings. This allows the residents in the complex, from local residents as well as aging facilities as necessary and not isolated from the local community through communication and communities responding to. Community facilities for elderly boost aging in place through space.
