Abstract
The article considers theatrical and decorative art of Transcarpathia in the period of the 20–40s of the XX century. The paper examines the origins and trends of theatrical and decorative arts of Transcarpathia. The study uses historical and cultural analysis of the processes in the Transcarpathian theater, which contribute to the in-depth study of these and other issues. Describing the theatrical and decorative art of Transcarpathia the author intends to generalize and introduce this concept into scientific circulation, revealing its genesis and connection with artistic and cultural processes in Transcarpathia, new concepts of modern visual art.
