Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the topical issue of determining the theoretical and practical aspects of the development of social competence of the future engineer of the agricultural sector. The author of the article points out the importance of the educational system of the university in the development of this competence. The issues of successful implementation of educational work based on competence-based and project-based approaches are analyzed. The development of students' social competence is achieved not by one-time actions, but by purposeful, systematic work, large-scale joint projects in which young people take an active part.
