Abstract
This work reflects the results of review G.S. Rusman's monograph "The implementation of the principle of publicity in the mechanism of exemption from criminal liability in connection with positive post-criminal behavior" (Moscow, Yurlitinform Publ., 2023). Results. The relevance, theoretical and practical significance of the study are stated. The author's attention is focused on the problematic aspects of this area: the balance of publicity and dispositivity; the implementation of an incentive form of legal proceedings, etc. The formulated conclusions are reasoned, in connection with which the review highly evaluates the monograph.
