Abstract

The article examines the problems associated with the financial and legal regulation of mortgage lending in modern Russia. It is indicated that the Russian Federation is developing and implementing new financial and legal mechanisms designed to provide citizens with housing for a long period of time. The author comes to the conclusion: despite the fact that in the field of residential mortgage lending there are a number of laws and regulations that have shown their effectiveness, due to economic and political circumstances, as well as due to the expiration of a number of preferential programs, this the sphere becomes very uncertain and requires legal regulation.
