Abstract

The effect of cooling water on internal combustion engine vehicles has a great effect on the environmental as well as the mechanical. In order to quickly find the cause of failure of the cooling water system for vehicle, various analyses of cooling water temperature are required in the event of failure of the critical components of the cooling water system. Therefore, there is a problem that the lots of cooling devices should be serviced to determine the exact cause. In this study, the components of analysis system was designed considering various operating times and the failure area of the cooling water thermostatic, the high and low speed cooling fan. Experimental results showed that rapid analysis of the failure parts of the cooling water line was possible without disassembling and assembling the parts in the cooling water system.
