Abstract
The article analyzes conditions, problems and development potential of the global nuclear energy. It also show the prospects for the development of nuclear energy in Russia. The emphasis is made on the im-portance and directions of development of nuclear energy for the Republic of Belarus. An up-to-date per-spective on the need for large-scale energy integration within the EAEU and the Union State of Belarus and Russia has been given from the point of view of energy security for each country
