Abstract

The article discusses the problem of insufficient information content of the classification of borrowers of microfinance organizations, proposed by the Central Bank, depending on the duration of their debt. It is shown that this solution does not allow to adequately take into account the weak formalizability of the process of assessing the creditworthiness of companies providing microcredit services in the Russian market in online and offline modes. The authors carried out a statistical analysis, which showed that it is expedient from the point of view of profitability, as well as the profitability of the loan portfolio, to cluster borrowers according to their level of financial responsibility. For this, the authors proposed a methodology for estimating the delay period of potential borrowers based on expert information.
