Abstract

The article considers the problem of theoretical and methodological bases of the concept "Educational environment of "Natural Sciences"". In particular, the approaches covered in the research of leading domestic and foreign scientists of the content of the scientific category "educational environment", which is considered through the prism of interconnected elements of the system, which includes external cultural and sociocultural conditions, subject-spatial environment, nature of interpersonal interaction and environmental factors. It is established that the concept of "educational environment" has different interpretations, which are due to approaches to determining its content. The reasons for the existence of terminological diversity and variability of the concept of "educational environment" in regulations, scientific and pedagogical literature are also investigated and an explanation of this phenomenon is made. The main direction of the article is to study the content of the concept of "educational environment" in the context of the introduction of experimental integrated course "Natural Sciences" in general secondary education and implementation of the main task of the educational field "Science" – the formation of natural science competence of Standard of basic and complete general secondary education. It is proposed to build the content and structure of the educational environment "Natural Sciences" on the basis of structural elements of natural science competence and generally accepted scientific approaches to the content of the scientific category "educational environment". The structure of the educational environment of "Natural Sciences" in the article is considered through the following components: integrated competence component, which contains cognitive, technological (activity), value and personality elements; spatial-subject and information components. The structure of the educational environment of "Natural Sciences" is presented in the form of a structural and logical scheme, which gives a visual idea of the structure and content. The structure of the educational environment of "Natural Sciences" and its functionality are related to the formulated functions that this environment should perform. The effectiveness of the educational environment of "Natural Sciences" is proposed to assess the level of formation of natural science competence of students, as the main purpose of creating this environment. The article also suggests areas for further research on this issue.
