Abstract

The results obtained by studying the low-temperature characteristics of diodes (ethylene glycol and its derivatives) and their nitroesters by the differential scanning calorimetry method are presented. It is shown that the studied compounds are characterized by glass transition temperatures in the range from -73 to -103oC, while ethylene glycol and its dinitrate differ from other compounds in the presence of crystallization and melting temperatures under experimental conditions.
