Abstract
The article deals with the issues of granting forest plots within the forest fund for rent for subsoil use. The acquisition of rights to a land plot is an integral part of the exploration and production of minerals. Relations in the field of subsoil use related to land plots are sufficiently regulated by natural resource legislation, however, they require detailed consideration in relation to registration of rights to forest plots from forest fund lands. The main problems that arise when using forest fund lands for the purposes of geological study, exploration and mining are identified. The current legislation for the purposes of subsoil use on the territory of the Khabarovsk Territory is analyzed. Taking into account the analysis of the provision of forest plots within the forest fund for rent in the Khabarovsk Territory for the purposes of subsoil use, possible ways to solve the identified problems are proposed by integrating data from the state forest registry into the unified state register of real estate (EGRN).
