Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate sports safety awareness and seek effective safety education plans. To achieve this purpose, 529 people, including athletes, coaches, physical education teacher, and family members of athletes, were targeted. Based on the results of this study, I would like to make the following conclusions and suggestions. First, it was necessary to make sports safety a daily life so that a culture of sports safety could be formed through the (tentative name) of the Sports Safety Act. Second, it was necessary to strengthen education on compliance with safety rules for each sporting activity, and to continuously promote through media and social media. Third, regular sports safety checks as well as safety checks before sports activities should be made mandatory. Fourth, it was obligatory to keep the “Sports Safety Accident Response Manual” in case of occurrence of sports safety accidents.
