Abstract
The author conducts a comprehensive analysis of the psychological factors influencing the motivation of participants in organizational processes under crisis conditions. It has been determined that challenging circumstances, driven by socio-economic, political, and organizational changes, significantly impact employees' psycho-emotional states and their professional performance. The article examines employee motivation within the context of occupational psychology as a complex dynamic process that contributes to the achievement of organizational goals and ensures professional performance at both the individual and collective levels. In particular, it focuses on theoretical approaches to motivational processes in crisis conditions, highlighting key aspects such as cognitive, emotional, motivational, and behavioral factors. The main theories of motivation are considered, including those that define the hierarchy of needs from basic physiological levels to higher levels of self-actualization, as well as the processes that explain the relationship between decision-making and motivational determinants. The work examines the impact of crisis conditions on employee motivation, particularly the role of psychological resilience and the ability of managers to make effective decisions to prevent destabilizing processes in the organizational environment. It also emphasizes the importance of leadership and team support during wartime. The publication underscores the relevance of a value-oriented approach to motivation during crises, specifically the importance of considering individual employee values for effective engagement in the work process. Additionally, the article analyzes the combination of material and non-material incentives, as well as the significance of open communication, feedback strategies, and psychological methods of self-regulation to enhance the effectiveness of employee motivation in today’s environment.
