Abstract
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US">The article presents a theoretical overview of approaches to the functioning of psychological service models in the education system. The experience of organizing models of psychological and pedagogical assistance to participants in educational relations in three subjects of the Russian Federation (Perm Krai, Sverdlovsk Region, Yaroslavl Region), which in 2023 became the winners of the All-Russian competition of regional models of psychological service in the system of general education and secondary vocational education, is considered. The concept of a functional model is revealed, and the possibilities of its application in the organization of psychological services in the education system are presented. As part of the development of a draft functional model of psychological services in the system of general education and secondary vocational education, three functional blocks are considered, which involve the implementation of certain functions at the federal, regional, municipal and institutional levels.</span></p>
