Abstract
Objectives In this study, the direction of traditional art education was presented through examples of art classes for young children. Methods To this end, teachers A and B designed a traditional art class program in consideration of the developmental characteristics, materials, techniques, and materials of infants. After conducting classes on 5-year-old infants in a special activity art class for the after-school curriculum of kindergartens C and D in Seoul, the analysis was based on the responses of infants, results, and feelings of teachers. Results In traditional art classes for young children, various topics, materials, and materials can be used to express them. The analysis results through class cases are as follows. First, the subject of the class is materials that young children can easily access in daily life. Second, traditional art classes for young children can be approached with the accidental technique of traditional materials. Third, during class, take enough time to enjoy traditional artworks and share feelings. It helps you experience and understand the materials and techniques of traditional art indirectly and directly. Conclusions Through the case of art classes for young children, we tried to present the direction of traditional art education. It is expected that art classes using traditional topics and materials will be actively conducted in the future in the educational field.
