Abstract

Lu Xun is a great modern Chinese writer, thinker and revolutionist. “Complete works of Lu Xun’s Short stories” contains all Lu Xun’s novels. These novels mostly describe the tragedy of ordinary people in the bottom society and criticize the “numb soul of Chinese people”, hoping to wake up the world and arouse people’s thinking. Lu Xun’s literary creation has not only become the precious ideological and cultural classics of the Chinese nation, but also become the beneficial spiritual food and valuable ideological heritage valued by the Korean people and academic circles. Lu Xun’s novels have been translated and introduced in Korea for a long time. This paper makes a comparative study of the Chinese and Korean versions of the Complete works of Lu Xun’s novels. Through the analysis of the translation strategies and skills of vocabulary and sentences, this paper aims to find out some problems that should be paid attention to in the novel translation and the handling methods that should be used for reference in the future.
