Abstract

The actual problem of the formation of mathematical concepts among students in the system of higher vocational education is considered. The purpose of the study is to develop a model for the formation of mathematical concepts in students and ways to master the algorithms for their implementation in the process of solving professionally oriented problems. The main tasks to be solved in the study are: changing the content of education and developing a single - operator approach to the definition of basic mathematical concepts. The methods were the study of scientific literature and practical experience in the implementation of vocational educational programs in universities. Results of the study: a model for the formation of mathematical concepts and the need to revise the content of education focused on the use of modern information technologies.
