Abstract

The influence of the mobilization potential of the political class in the context of the problem of providing modernization processes in modern Ukraine is considered. The mobilization potential of the political class as a separate tool for implementing actions aimed at modernization is described. A number of factors have been analyzed that negatively affected the Ukrainian scenario of modernization in modern Ukraine, such as: confrontation between political groups due to lack of political culture of consensus; fusion of political and financial interests of groups of influence; the weakness of democratic institutions, etc. It is alleged that the fundamental thesis of the possibility of transferring Western formulations of the transition to democracy into Ukrainian realities was a significant mistake of the political class; confidence in the universal nature of these methods. The political, economic and cultural aspects of modernization processes are highlighted. The difficulties that weaken modernization processes in the country are found: in the economic, political and cultural spheres. It is pointed out that the hybrid conflict, the loss of territories, the spread of corruption in power structures and the country as a whole have a negative effect on the tendencies of civil society formation. Markers that characterize the general state of relations between the political class and society, their features in the context of modernization issues are considered. It is established that the mobilization potential of the political class is a prerequisite for achieving effective and positive results of socio-political changes, especially in the context of the crisis situation in modern Ukraine.
