Abstract

This article discusses the methodological characteristics (goals, principles, content, features, forms, methods, criteria, conditions) of the formation of communicative skills of primary school students. An analysis of the works of scientists on the communication abilities of students was carried out. As a subject of communicative activity (forming an idea of a person as a subject of the surrounding world, as an individual, forming an attitude towards him as a subject of communication), the issues of determining and implementing the stages of formation are considered, taking into account the student’s attitude towards himself. The content of the concept “communication skills of primary school students” is analyzed. Research in this direction is aimed at theoretical substantiation and testing of pedagogical conditions that contribute to the formation of communicative skills of primary school students. The article also mentions the scientific knowledge that can be gained from the research.
