Abstract

The article presents an overview of classical models of adult learning and analyzes them. The key principles of building a model of adult learning taking into account the requirement of digitalization of the educational process are defined. The model of adult learning in the conditions of digitalization is developed and described. This article is devoted to the didactic component of this model. Didactic component includes: approaches to learning, principles, methods, forms, means and technologies of learning. In our study we consider classical approaches, formulated on the basis of commonly accepted and often used concepts in science, specific approaches, formulated in relation to the category of adult learners and special, applicable in the conditions of digitalization. Much attention is paid to such special learning methods as simulations, online lectures, adaptive online tests. Among the e-learning tools used in the conditions of digitalization the authors highlight immersive technologies, virtual simulators, virtual environments and metauniverses.
