Abstract

The article analyzes the similarity of the actions of the hero in the story “Knives” by V. P. Kataev and the character functions in Russian fairy tale. In order to establish the commonality of the story “Knives” and the Russian fairy tale, a comparison is made and the relationship between the actions of the hero of the story and the character functions in the fairy tale is determined by the monotony and compositional sequence.

Создавая рассказ «Ножи» Катаев пользовался бесконечной творческой свободой художественной формы, вместе с тем оставаясь в границах веками выработанной закономерности – функций персонажа волшебной сказки, своим творчеством находился в единой общности с русской фольклорной традицией

П. Катаева «Ножи» и функций персонажа русской волшебной сказки. Катаева «Ножи» и русской волшебной сказки // Известия Саратовского университета. Поступки героя и их последовательность имеют схожесть с функциями персонажа волшебной сказки. Общность рассказа «Ножи» и волшебной сказки мы видим в единообразии и композиционной последовательности действий героя рассказа и функций персонажа сказки.
