Abstract
Based on the analysis of scientific literature, as well as legal documents, it can be noted that today strategic planning of the socio-economic development of the region does not have a normative system of tools. In this paper, the author proposes to include in the system of tools for strategic planning of socio-economic develop-ment of the region such tools as: correlation and regression analysis, factor and variance analysis.
