Abstract
This article reveals the problem of ensuring the quality and safety of food products in terms of import, analyzes the main indicators of work of the territorial Department of Rospotrebnadzor of the Voronezh region to ensure the quality and safety in the turnover of consumer goods. Revealed typical violations of legislation in the field of consumer protection, directions of modernization and support of the system of state sanitary - epidemiological supervision in the Voronezh region, optimization of organizational structure and control the activity of this structure to ensure the quality and safety of consumer products.
